I’m gonna see a endocrinologist in a month because I want to see if I can still grow. I’m 4"10 girl and my mom short and my dad normal height. I don’t want to take any growth hormone since it’s Like a steroid. But will the endocrinologist give me something else to help me grow just a few inches?

He is on Norditropin. He has to have his injection every night. So far they have been a breeze to give!!

The reason I discussed everything in such detail is so that other parents who have to take their children to do the same test will know what to expect : )

I am 18, 108 pounds, male, 5′4 11 1/2 shoe size. All the males in my family are 5"10 ++++ All the girls at least 5"5

Ever since the 8th grade I have stopped aging. My face is EXACTLY the same…proven through photo’s. (I look like a 13-14 year old). I haven’t grown a centimeter. My penis has not grown any…4 in erect…~1.5 inch girth….My testicles and pubic hair however have continued to mature. I’m almost to the adult form. I have a little facial hair…My voice sounds like a normal 18 year old I believe.

I went through a lot of stress in the 8th grade…Not enough time to list why. But it was an abnormal amount for an 8th grader.

I am thinking I have Human Growth Hormone Deficiency…It just fits…a little too well. I want to find out before it’s too late. My family doctor says I’m fine, but I don’t believe him. What I’m going through is not normal. I want to get a 2nd opinion, and go to a endocrinologist…But my mom says i’m obsessing, which I doubt I am. Many other people have developed this disease when I have. Gary Coleman…the brother on Hannah Montana…They still look like they are 13…They didn’t get treated. I don’t want that to happen to me.

I just 17 about 115lbs and about 5′2ish. I’ll be going for my yearly physical soon and one thing that interests me is that I’d like to ask my doctor is if I should take HGH. What do you guys think? I’m fairly under hieght for my age compared to my other guy friends who are 5′5+ and my slow growth rate may primarily be hereditary since my mom’s side of the family (-4′10) is way shorter than my dad’s side (5′9+). Could it be worth taking HGH, with the side effects (depending on how bad they may be) through professional guidance?

I’m 14, a female, and around 5′2. I weigh only about 88 lbs and i am the smallest one in my family. my mom is 5′5 and dad’s 5′10, both normal-sized. i was supposed to be 5′5 (my mom’s height) but i dont know what stunted my growth. Don’t say i can still grow bccause my doctor said i would only grow about an inch more or nothing at all.

OK when my mom gets back from Mexico I plan to make a doctor’s appointment so he can send me to an endocronologist so he can inject me with human growth hormone. I plan on going 6 ft. 3 in. I plan to tryout for quarterback this summer for the football team. A couple of questions. How much does it cost? Does anybody know? Also I’ve been working out trying to burn as much fat as possible and building muscle. I have some flexers, biceps, chest, deltoids, etc. I plan to work out my legs next week when the school weight room opens so I can pack on some more muscle. When I get on the human growth hormone, will it make my muscles bigger?

Also this other thing. I do not want to get on the human growth hormone that the football coach gives his players. Its dirty. I saw some guy who was on it talking to some guy in the cafteria and its totally obvious he got on it. Is human growth hormone undetectable? This coach probably uses the same damn needle on every player. If I get on it, will I be able to play in the NFL? I heard none of these players from my school have ever made it because they all cheated, they all used human growth hormone. But what else is ther for the height? 6 3′ is the height I want. No more no less. If QB doesnt work out I can play WR. On defense Im going for safety. I want to play 2 postitions next year. Does anyone know if I get on human growth hormone if I’ll be able to play in the NFL?

Is it legal for a doctor to give me Human Growth Hormone even though I do not have a disease and I just want to be taller? My mom is 5′ 3”, so its in my genes. I’ve heard that if I am going to take hormones to increase my height I must do it now, there is not way to increase height once you’ve reached adulthood. Is HGH safe as long as it is administered by a doctor?

I’m 15, near 16. I haven’t even grown an inch in the past two years, and I’m about 5′1 at the moment and weigh 94 pounds. My mom is about 5′2, dad is about 5′11, almost 6′0. I’m considering getting injections to help me grow. I don’t get it–I’ve been exercising and eating well for years. I’ve done everything possible to encourage growth. Now I’ve given up and I’m resorting to shots. Can anyone tell me if it works and if it causes any negative side effects?

My mom is 5′5". My dad is 5′11". my 17 year old brother is 6′1". My 11 year old sister is 5′0". I am 14 years old and only 4′9.5" and started my period about 2.5-3 years ago. I have only grown about a half or 1 inch sense last year. Should I be taller than what I am now? Is there a possibility that I have a growth hormone deficiency?

i’ve made some research that if your growth plate is still open, taking growth hormone injection can actually help you grow taller. So does it make you grow to just your full potential or maybe beyond that? and also some people said that messing with these without a doctor’s care can be very dangerous, really? aren’t these just growth hormones? i am a 18 yr old male who is only 5 ft 5 in. my mom is 5”1 and my dad is 5”7 i am not sure if i can even grow to my dad’s height …

I’m 13 and 5′3. I want to be taller! My dad is tall 6′1 and so is my sister 5′6, but my mom is way short, 5′1. I’m 13, and am wondering if human growth hormone stimulators really work, will they make me taller? are they safe? And how do i use them??

Okay Im 18 years old and I am 5′6 1/2 and like 25 CM from like 5′7 while wearing shoes. The thing is my parents are short… My dad is like or 5′8 and my mom is short >.>( DARN YOU MOM!!! LOL) she is like 5ft 1. The thing is that I am short and even my cousins on my mom’s side of the family are shorter than me but mostly everyone on my dad’s side is tall.On my dads side All my uncles are atleast 6′1, both my grandpa and great grandpa on my dad side are like 6′2 or 6′3. All my cousins on my dad side except like 2 are 6ft or so.

My only cousin on my mom’s side that is kinda tall is 5′9 or and its because he’s cousins with my dad and his dad was tall like 6′2 but his mom( my aunt) was like 4ft4.

I hope I can. The thing is Im not active or in shape. I dont drink milk… so I got my height withotu really drinking any milk Im kinda overweight. I want to change and get in shape, drink plenty of milk, play basketball etc. but I dont know how much more I can grow.

Also my friends who can tell the future and have been right so far said that he saw me growing atleast 3more inches. I believe him because I can see its a gift from God and he hasnt been wrong yet to my knowledge. Thtats 5′9… Even 1 or 2 more inches Im happy with but I need to grow. Any help please. Also you think that taking viatims( centrum- my mom just bought) every day will help… Im kinda afraid to ask the doctor for human growth hormone I could try but any help is deeply apprecaited :)
also.. I havent had my growth spurt yet Im sure… I been 5′5 since 8th grade… finally gre a inch… so mayb e the growth spurt is on its way.. also that si not tall my friends in 8th grade were like 6′1 almost all my friends so I was short… and still am in my HS class :(:(
