NEED PROFESSIOnal help, serious answers?

OMG WHAT have I DONE?
Okay, i am an 18 year old male whose 5 feet 6 inches tall weigh about 171 lbs.

HERES MY STORY
I used to be fat, I weighed 265 lbs at the same height. And I started my diet 1 month before my 17th birthday which is in april. I started it on march 3rd and stopped it around christmas time 2007. I lost about 120 lbs within 8 or 9 months. I WAS BELUMIC AND ANNOREXIC, I went down to 142lbs and really bony ALL I LOST I think was muscle no fat. I definatly suffered malnutrition. I THINK i stunned my growth. I WANT TO talk to my doctor about this, but im afraid cause he might think im weird, plus annoying because I asked him about a month ago to prescribe him to me, because I thought I were short. I DID not tell him that I was annorexic nor belumic, do you think telling him that would make him prescribe it to me. COULD he prescribe HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE Injections to me, without me paying or do I need to pay. What should I do I HATE BEING SHORT, and I cant believe I was so stupid. MY height was supposed to be 5 feet 9 and a half, judging by an online calculator. What do you suggest I do, I even feel my bones are weak. Please, serious answers only. THANK YOU, should i see a endocrinologist and tell him my story,
Please answer this question ALSO??

What tests will he do on me that would make him realize that i need human growth hormone. And my growth plates are still open, will he prescribe them to me. WILL I have to pay if he prescribes it to me, or does the insurance cover it.

Overall, what damage do you honestly think it caused my body, as of now I feel pain on my right breast, everytime I stretch to the left the pain hurts a lot. Also, do you think I am not well devoloped as a male yet, because I havent recieved hormones from my body to grow or to even be a male, can malnutrition cause CANCER. PLEASE HELP ME, I am very worried.

THANK YOu, very much

It certainly sound like you are in a very difficult situation. Being overweight has definitely been an enormous stressor for you, as it is for many, many people. And wanting to lose weight and look healthy is a great goal. It is very admirable that you were able to make the commitment to losing weight, and from what you say it sounds as is if you were very committed. The desire to lose weight is a good goal because a certain weight is healthy for people–so when people look at your appearance they can tell that you are physically healthy. However, if–in order to lose weight–you have had to keep yourself from eating regular meals, have had to resort to bulemic behaviors, or take other extreme measures, you can actually compromise your health. If the path you take to look like a healthy individual (which is what people find so attractive about trimness) has compromised your health, it means that your actions are not really making you the kind of attractive person that you want to be. And here is the key part: if you are aware that your actions are damaging your health, but persist, that means that you are having difficult or are unhappy. Losing weight will not make an unhappy person happy–even if they feel their unhappiness is based in their weight. People’s emotions and desires are very complex and if you make certain self-damaging behaviors it does not mean that something is wrong with you, it only means that there are things that are making you unhappy. Of course you will be afraid of the judgment of your doctor or anyone else–judgment sucks. From anyone. But there are people who are thoroughly educated in how to talk to you about these issues without your feeling judged at all. Professional counselors and therapist can help you in your present unhappiness AND in your desires to look and feel healthy. Because both goals are very important. But the desire to look healthy on the outside when you have stresses and problems in the inside is something that only can be achieved for a short period of time. There are many books and websites that can help you think through these difficulties and find non-judgmental people who can help you. And there are ways of finding professional help even if you do not know how to get it. Please consider getting this kind of help from people that can provide it. It will make the biggest difference in your life.
